Full Day Workshop
Our one day Introduction to Floristry workshop will give you a taster as to what it's like working as a florist, you will learn about care and conditioning, principles of design, wiring techniques, and get to make a buttonhole, flower crown, hand tied bouquet and a vase arrangement.
Perfect for all levels and a lovely way to spend a day with friends or a treat for yourself.
Included are all flowers and materials, refreshments throughout the day and lunch is included in the price.
10am A warm welcome and introduction from myself with a coffee, tea or light refreshments.
10.15am We will start by showing you how to care and condition your beautiful selection of seasonal flowers and foliage. And talk you through the principles of design.
10.45am Next is wiring techniques and we will make a beautiful rose buttonhole and flower crown with guidance from myself.
1.00pm Following lunch I will demonstrate how to make a hand tied bouquet using an abundance of beautiful Autumn berries, blooms and textured foliage, then it’s time for you to make your own again with guidance from myself.
2.15pm Then using sustainable methods we will create an arrangement in a glass vase using the grid technique using plenty of seasonal flowers and foliage.
3.15pm Photoshoot time, we will take pictures of you proudly holding your creations which we will send you after the workshop.*

Participants must be 16 or over. All Covid regulations and social distancing rules will be adhered to.
